“My teeth are better today than at any other point in my life.”

This strong statement is said with 100% conviction by Tom Darby, a patient of Dr Anjali Shahi of Manor Dental Care. He could not be more pleased with the work she has done to improve his smile. He says quite simply “I do not think any praise is high enough”

Aged 69, he has had implants placed and new crowns and bridges so that his bite is really strong and his smile is natural and healthy. “Every one remarks on my teeth. I tell them I have the ‘ring of confidence’.”

Family and friends are following his recommendation and signing up with Dr shahi. One of them is his wife Dawn who used to suffer a panic attack before going to the dentist – but that’s a thing of the past now she is a patient of Manor Dental Care.

Mr Darby, who grew up in a poor area of Manchester during the war years, when dental hygiene was not a priority, continued. “I have always had trouble with my teeth but I can honestly say that I don’t any longer.”

It’s not just the standard of Dr Shahi’s work he appreciates, it’s the courtesy and attention he receives from her staff. “I have nothing but admiration for all of them. It’s the first time I have been really happy about going to the dentist. It’s not a chore, it’s something I look forward to. You can’t say better than that!”
