Laser Hair Removal

Is laser hair removal safe?

Laser hair removal is deemed to be safe and reliable by a number of relevant authorities all across the world.  Laser treatment is an extremely popular and safe method of hair removal.  After your consultation with your practitioner, the laser with be set just for you and your hair/skin type to ensure you get the best result possible.  With correct care and consultations, laser hair removal is a low risk procedure.

How many treatments will I need?

As each patient is completely individual, it can’t be guessed exactly how many treatments a patient will need, however, generally after each treatment you will see a visible reduction in hair growth.  On average, a patient will require 4-6 treatments, or more, to permanently reduce hair growth.

Will my hair ever grow back?

Put simply, no.  Once the hair follicle has been damaged, it can’t grow hair again.  Nevertheless, there are sometimes a few hair follicles that are merely stunned by the laser and will regrow, these follicles will need to be retreated.

Will it hurt?

For most of our patients it is painless, some have even likened the sensation to a “hot stone massage”!
